As a real estate agent and a landlord, Ishay (pronounced “EE-SHY) Grinberg saw a problem and set out to eliminate the issues he was experiencing in the rental market. In his 13 years of working in real estate, he had experienced every facet of the residential real estate transaction firsthand, and was all too familiar with the challenges faced by other landlords and tenants at various stages of the rental process. Ishay saw the need for a comprehensive online platform that would help tenants, landlords and agents to navigate the rental experience, so he did something about it, and created a more highly efficient process, namely Rental Beast.
As the founder and CEO of Rental Beast, Ishay stated that the core value and mission statement of Rental Beast is to “Empower and serve all real estate professionals in their pursuit of helping future home buyers, while simultaneously making the rental market more accessible and transparent.”
One of the biggest hurdles the rental transaction endures, besides streamlining the traditional clunky paper process, was the challenge of tenant screening. Their solution was to create a seamless screening process that complies with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FRCA) while removing liability from the agent, but keeping the agent in the middle of the transaction, all done with a mobile app, named APPLY NOW. This seamless and highly efficient process provides multiple levels of screening within minutes day or night, eliminating paperwork and forms.
Hear how Ishay and his team have created these safeguards, created a seamless system and because of this outstanding platform, they have enjoyed wide adoption with MLS nationwide.

In this part of our interview, Ishay reports that one of the more outstanding issues facing the rental pool of properties today is the aspect of real time availability updates. He shared the polarized difference in real time data when it comes to searching for rental properties, stating that “the shelf life of a rental property is counted in minutes and hours” as opposed to the shelf life of a property listed for sale that may be listed for weeks or months. This powerful up-to- the-minute reporting of available properties is part of their focus on operational expertise to better serve the agent, tenant and landlord during the rental process. By creating a seamless and real time platform for the rental market, it’s easy to see why Rental Beast has established itself as a leading force in the real estate industry.
